So as I mentioned before we left Friday morning at 6:27am for our weekend in Arkansas. The 4.5 ride went by pretty quick and we went out on the lake almost immediately with 20 of our closest friends. It was a blast, we had 3 different condos, 3 different boats, and a whole lotta beer. Surprisingly enough there was also a really cool bar called Smyly's on the other side of the lake that was huge and had awesome music. By Saturday night I was exhausted and let's not talk about the horrendous drive back on Sunday. We picked up Eric who of course went right to sleep as he always does after a weekend at Grandma's. It's been hard to get back in the groove of things this week. The 4 day work week is not very forgiving.
This was another "big week" because our 2nd anniversary was yesterday. We went with last year's idea and had dinner at Texas de Brazil in Addison. We had a buy one get one free there so it turned out pretty darn cheap and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes, full as ticks. We also had some peanut butter and banana ice cream from the grocery store for dessert. We are thinking of continuing the celebration this weekend by getting a hotel downtown somewhere, but are still undecided on that. Anyway, here are some pics from the weekend.
